Blade Runner Film

The ending scene with Roy and Deckard was one of the worst scene's of the already bad film. The film had already built up to a terrible ending. Roy pleading for empathy while Deckard struggled to get away from Roy who had broke 3 of his fingers. I think this scene was just poor all around. The fact that Deckard just sat there and watched Roy die as he released a dove was really anti climatic.

  1. Grant you are missing the entire point of that ending scene. Its purpose was not to be an amazing action sequence. It was to show that the Replicants were not completely murdering jerks. That scene showed that they do feel emotions like love and forgiveness.
P.S. You are very anti climatic.

  2. Although i mostly agree with your statement, the scene was not all bad. There were a few good things a bout the end of the movie, one of them being that it was packed full of action and kept the audiences attention. The best part about this scene however was that it brought an end to the movie and there are no more scenes after it.

  3. A little anti climatic but it was still a pivotal scene in the film, it brings Roy and Rick a little closer together. It really sets up the next scene with Rick and Racheal as well.
